For Season 1 of Rocket Racing, I worked as the primary Environment Artist on the track: Conduit. This tracks gameplay focus was on drifting, with a constant corkscrew ascent to the top of a large mountain, and then a free-fall at the end.
The original concept was only that there would be a free-fall down a 'drain' at the end of the track. I worked to establish the rest. It was a challenge to figure out what infrastructure may exist here. Season 1 was about beautiful, night-time cityscapes. The idea was: this much water could run through a dam, and that dam could power a city.
Software Used: Unreal Engine 5, Blender, and Photoshop.
