Rocket Racing - Skull Rock Isle

For Season 2 of Rocket Racing, I worked as the primary Environment Artist on the track: Skull Rock Isle.

This track was a unique challenge, with a lot of verticality. To accommodate the changing heights, I worked with the idea of tall island mountains and a large volcano the player could race through. Skull shaped rocks sit at the volcanos top; and when nature gives you something so impossible, its likely to be worshiped by someone. Within the walls of the volcano are ancient temples now long abandoned.

This track emphasized shortcuts and alternative paths, so caves and snaking rivers help lead the player in natural directions.

Software Used: Unreal Engine 5, Blender, and Photoshop.
