For Rocket League Season 20, I worked as an Environment Artist on the Arena: Boostfield Mall. This arena features numerous unique storefronts, including: a movie theater, arcade, music shop, tire shop, and multiple restaurants.
My responsibilities included creating the initial stadium blockout, establishing scale and composition from field-view, and authoring a number of our main POIs including: the Cinema, Tamayo's Kicks, Big John's Burger, and Whitney's Pizzeria. The Malls infrastructure was an interesting challenge and went through multiple iterations. Eventually adding bathrooms, food court booths, water features, and more.
I worked on this map alongside Adam Beckwith and Joseph Burgan.
Software Used: Unreal Engine 3, Blender, Maya, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
