For Rocket League Season 21, we traveled to France with our new Stadium: Parc de Paris!
This map was a lot of fun to work on, and offered its own unique challenges. This stadium, being based on a real-world location, required research. Utilizing google street view and available photography online, I worked to accurately capture the mood, infrastructure, and views of the area. This arena is set at dusk- giving the stadium a beautiful sunset to accompany a beautiful city.
My role on this map included some initial blockout, as well as populating and authoring the details that add life outside of the stadium: including foliage, lamp-posts, benches, sidewalks, statues, fencing, crowds and more.
On this arena I worked as an Environment Artist alongside Adam Beckwith and Joseph Burgan.
Software Used: Unreal Engine 3, Blender, and Photoshop.
